Apart from the appalling result for my Patriots yesterday, there was nothing more annoying that watching those tiresome Linda McMahon commercials. Who are they aimed at? Patriots fans? I don't get it. You would think that after a while folks would vote against her just for interrupting their football.
The astronomical sums begin shelled out for political advertising this season feel like the political equivalent of the nuclear arms race that ran throughout our childhoods. It has certainly removed any longing I might have to be living in any of the swing states for the next 3 weeks.
